I got 25 feet of 10/4 cord to wire to my oven and want to double check my thoughts before I burn my house down. The 220 outlet I am using is the only one we have which is 30A the dryer runs off of. It is a 4 post outlet. The cord on the oven I got is a 3 post, so I bought a new head and cable. When I open the access panel on the oven there is one white, one black and one red wire as well as a green screw. Am I to assume the wire from the cord I got go in the same place, and the green wire from the cord grounds to the green screw?
