I always thought welding would be a handy skill to have. Time passes, kids grow up and I just have never taken the time. Now I’d like to. I am TOTALLY uneducated about the terminology – TIG, MIG whether gas or electric. I know nothing.
So I would like to learn how. Just basic stuff like repairing a trailer or deer blind or maybe tacking up some broken brackets. Where can I learn basic skills like that?
FYI I live near Houston so it’s a big city… there’s gotta be some place. The local community college in my area doesn’t list it as a continuing education class so I don’t know where else to start.
