I have a unique challenge and question for the experts. I have acquired 10 beautifully crafted oak anderondak chairs that were varnished when made. Now the varnish is checking, cracking and peeling, etc. I’m considering buying a soda blaster to remove the finish. All other traditional methods would just take too much time and work. I’m looking for any and all advice. Is it a good idea?, product and equipment recommendations, etc.?? I would also like to have the ability to do small blasting projects like removing rust from car hitches and other touch up work. Thank you in advance.
