I’m re-building a 1969 olds cutlass, and the valve covers have the olds name embossed on them. i was planning on painting them but leaving the letters an different color to set them apart everyting else under the hood. one on them has some damage on the top side and i was wondering what would happen if i was to use body filler to help smooth out some of the damage as well as all the spots where the spot welds show. i already sand blasted everything off of them and did some minor metalwork to get them back into decent shape. any info available wold be appreciated
