Good afternoon everyone. This is my first post and I am new to powder coating. I recently purchased a Harbor Freight powder coating system to powder coat stainless tumblers for my wife. After realizing how much I enjoyed it I decided to buy a better system. I ended up buying the Columbia Coatings Kook Koat 2.0 LED. While I was using the Harbor Freight system my tumblers turned out perfect! Never a run, dimple discoloration.. nothing. So, my new Columbia Coatings system came in and I setup everything. I have done 4 tumblers and every single one of them have little dimples/holes in the coating. I have read to adjust the KV settings in various directions and nothing seems to work for me. I continue to get the dimples. I have a earth ground (8″ grounding rod and 10″ of #12 copper wire. I am using Prismatic powders. I have tried 3 different colors and I get the same results with all of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
