If you’re currently using hardware store tool box drawer liners (the expanded rubber stuff that you can buy in a roll) and are tired of having these liners bunch up every time you close the drawer, here’s a great tip that I learned:
Get a couple of cans of aerosol undercoating, mask the top edges and handles, and then spray the insides of the drawers. The tools will stay put from that time on, and no more “bunched-up mat” issue. Just be sure that you use rubberized undercoating as it will not exhibit a soft, sticky surface when it’s hot out. Eastwood 16007 ZP Rubberized Aerosol Undercoating works great for this application.
