To vent or not

    What are the “cons” for not having a vent outlet when making an oven? Wouldn’t it heat up faster, all the hot air staying inside? I don’t think there are many ovens out there that are “air tight”, so there’s going to be some heat leaking out. Am I missing something obvious here? “Not seeing the forest for the trees” kinda thing? :confused:
