I have a 1 year old TIG 200 from Eastwood. It has only really seen use in the last 3 months.
Last Saturday while welding Stainless Steel, I heard a slight pop and things got quiet. I was able to do one last tack. The TIG 200 is usually pretty loud and after the pop it got really quiet. I did smell a slight electrical burn smell from the back of the machine next to the top fan. I tried firing up the TIG 200 the next day and the machine was still quieter then normal. I was thinking of stopping by the Pottstown store this Saturday and have it checked out. But if anyone has an idea what it could be I am all ears.
