Just bought it last week and ran my new 220 VAC with a 50 amp breaker. I also have a MIG 130 that I bought several years ago (the best) and I ran a separate 120VAC 20 amp breaker for this one. Is there a rule of thumb when the TIG 200 DC welder goes from 120 to 220. I normally weld nothing greater than 1/8″ or .125″.
Also on the safety instructions page 4–it says never to handle the torch and the feed cable, power cord or welder cabinet at the same time. Fatal Shock can occur. I have some jobs inside the car for cage work in the rear…would that present a problem or am I reading too much into the safety article?
Thanks you
Ron
