    Tech guys,

I am very curious about the clearance effect knob. I know what it does and how to play with it to get optimum welds on aluminum AC welding, but my question is about how it relates to “industry standard” numbers.

Most TIG welding machines have their “AC Balance” (clearance effect on the TIG 200AC/DC) as actual percentage values (either in %EN, or %EP). I would like to know what the actual percentage values -5, 0, and 5 represent on this machine.
