I’m looking at this powdercoat for some suspension bits for my car. I have Aftermarket powder swaybars that were powdercoated a similar color from the factory and the paint just hasn’t held up well here on the east coast. Repeated rocks have created chips in the paint causing the metal to rust and causing the paint to further chip off much like any other paint.
The reason I like that paint is because of it’s color. From what I’ve read, epoxy powder coats are the best for impact resistance.
Should I stay away from this paint all together or will it be OK? If I should stay away from this, would Epoxy powder coating suffice or should I go to a different method and scratch the powder coating idea?
Thanks for your help!
