I need a part done in a two tone scheme involving a texture coat. I am wondering if what I have in mind will work or not. Here it is:
Coat the substrate with a metalic like bronze and follow up with a clear to protect it. Then, properly mask off the areas I want to remain bronze then and coat with black texture powder. After the texture flows, allow to cool and remove masking before fully curing the texture.
What I am wondering is if the curing process for the black wrinkle will over cure the clear causing it to yellow or something else.
Can anyone offer a better way to accomplish what I need done or any other input? Thanks.
