I thought I would get some advice on my current project. I am working on a 1946 Ford coupe lo-rider. I have cut the rocker boxes and installed new *****ing boxes and now I am starting on the body work. Some parts of the car has mild surface rust ( that can be easily removed with a sanding disc ) but some of the rust has slight pits that will surely come back to haunt me later. I especially need advice on what to do before primer. I have purchased oxisolve, eastwood’s metal wash and Zero rust’s prep step. What starting steps would you suggest? How can rust in the pits be stopped to prevent future problems? Will the above mentioned products help or could you suggest other products that would work better. Appreciate the help.
    Thanks, Joe
