    I am trying to strip a pair of valve covers and a battery hold down, but it’s becoming a pain in the ***. Seems like some of the paing just does not want to come off. Using a basic stripper I got from home depot and wondering if I need to go to an aircraft stripper.

    I know you guys have crazy setups in your shops, but right now I don’t even have a blast cabinet, and I am starting to see that it is going to be a requirement. How clean does the part have to be? I stripped one side of the battery hold down but no matter how much I sand it, it seems traces of black stay in there!

    I have spent 30 minutes on the thing so far and it’s not even half way done. If I spend 3 hours stripping prepping and PCing this thing doesn’t seem like it will be worth it 😡
