Hello,
I spent alot of time this weekend polishing the aluminum trim on my classic Chevy. What I found was that a clear coat was put over the aluminum (many years ago) and it is starting to yellow. I put alot of elbow grease into it and it started to take the clear off. I would rather have it off and polish the trim one or two times a year.
Here is my question: Is there a product out there to strip off that clear coat easier than what I am using? I am using a rag and Aluminum polish. Production is slow:( I would like to use a nice buffing compound and a motorized buffer when I get this clear off. Has anyone run into this?
