I enjoy your work. I intend to put many of the techniques I’ve seen you use to work. I’m restoring a 67 Mustang that needs a number of lower panels replaced, two door skins and a front fender. The frame is fairly solid but I need to replace the front crossmember and the strut supports. My question regards cutting out and welding in those new pieces. Do I need to tack a temporary crossmember between the frame rails before I cut out the front crossmember?
