After applying Eastwood’s self etching primer to parts of my project, I learned that the Evercoat slick sand I intended on applying to the whole car is not intended for application over self-etching primers. I have some small areas where I have applied Evercoat’s Z-grip filler over bare metal. I am better off taking all of the self-etching primer off and applying the stlick sand over bare metal (if so, will the previously applied self-ecthing primer have any residual effects)? Or, is there a product I an apply over the self-etching primer over which I can apply the slick sand? I will likely be using a PPG or Dupont paint system (haven’t decided yet). I will also be applying the slick sand over another sanded 2K primer (Ditzler brand I believe) that was applied directly to bare metal. Any problems with that?
