I am planning to repaint the frame, suspension, axles on a working semi. It has places where the rust is bad and the paint has lifted. Blasting isn’t an option, I plan to hit as much of it as possible with a wire wheel/abrasive wheel, I need some direction on what products to use. Rust converter, rust encapsulator, then top coat is what I was thinking, but there are so many products, I need some guidance on what to use. It won’t be disassembled, some of it will be sprayed, but some hard to get to areas will have to be done with a brush.

This is a working truck and will have to face the salt and de-icer in the winter. Will these products stand up to that, or are they more for restoring classic autos? Thanks for any help you can give me.
