I am restoring a 1984 Dodge Rampage, and have already removed the troublesome seam sealer Dodge applied 33+ years ago. I have the drip tray, roof drip rails, and interior seam sealer removed. I reapplied 3M Dynatron seam sealer to the drip tray after POR-15 was applied, and have held up on the interior until I researched a little more. I purchased the Lizard Skin thermal insulation and sound control for the door guts, roof, and floor/firewall. Do I need to reapply the seam sealer I removed from the floor and along the rear of the cabin, or can I shoot the Lizard Skin products directly over it all? Or would you recommend reapplying the seam sealer, letting it cure, and then apply their coatings?
