i’ve been polishing aluminum for a couple of months now and i’m getting results that i’m pretty happy with, but they aren’t quite….perfect. is it possible to get a perfectly scratch free shine? i’m using a kit i got from jestco products and it included 2 spiral sewn buffs and one loose section buff. the compounds include a greaseless compound, a gray mild abrasive bar, and a white bar. very fine scratches remain, but could i eliminate those with a canton buff like eastwood sells? and if so would i use white compounds with it or something else? at this point i know i’m being kinda picky, but i want the stuff to look the best it can.
