Hello, My Name is Mark and this is my first Post.
I have body and paint experience with metal but limited experience with Fiberglass
I purchased a 1999 Fleetwood American Eagle RV a few months ago. The sides of the coach are made by Owens Corning Glass with Gelcoat that has developed 1/8″ to 1/4″ crazing throughout the sides. Reading RV forums a few members state Owens Corning had a defect in the glass that causes this issue and the only way to permanently repair is the replace the sides of the coach at a tune of $15K per side… Well, that is out! Others state sanding and the use epoxy primer will seal and is a permanent repair.
I would greatly value your expertise regarding the epoxy primer solution
Thank You in Advance, Mark
