A few questions here:
I have a fairly small job to do — upper and lower control arms on a 69 Chevy pickup.
Are there any drawbacks to using Rust Encapsulator aerosol? If I buy two cans and don’t use all of the second one, can I store and use the rest later? And can I clean the nozzle with lacquer?
Regarding the quart size, what is the shelf life after use? I doubt my current project is big enough for a full quart, but I’ll want to use the remainder at a later date. I’ve used POR15 in the past, but buy the smallest size possible because its shelf life is fairly short after it’s been opened. IF RE is like that, it’s OK, but I just don’t want to essentially throw away what I don’t use.
Finally, I am looking at Chassis Black as a topcoat, but it’s really not necessary, right?
Thanks.
