This is for my chassis. I wire wheeled the entire frame to knock off any loose rust, but it seems I took it to a good surface finish. Here are a few shots of the frame that show the condition:



You can see, except for the tight areas, the frame is pretty clean. Before I started, my plan was to knock off the loose rust, use rust encapsulator as my primer, and then use two coats of extreme chassis black.
Can I still use the rust encapsulator? I still need it for the tight areas, but will it adhere to the clean areas? Or should I etch the frame with medal ready and then prime?
