When I first applied Eastwood’s rust converter I mixed as per the directions. However, I felt it to be a bit too thick, so the second time I mixed it 2 to 1 instead of 4 to 1, and it seemed to flow better, though obviously the coating was a little thinner. Is there anything inherently wrong with mixing it this way?
Also, can it be sprayed, and if so what should be used to thin it, more of the part B wetting agent?
I’m using it on a sandblasted truck frame which still had some rust speckling, and I’ll be using RE over it and then Eastwood’s 2 part bedliner over that for impact protection.
