I have a mid-80’s Alpina B7 Turbo Coupe that I will be restoring. It came with a foam rubber rear spoiler, similar in construction to the Foha spoilers of the same vintage (they were popular add-ons for BMW’s, VW’s, Audi’s, etc.). The bad news is that the part is NLA from Alpina. The good news is that I have found a second one in similar shape that I can “practice” on. 🙂
20 years of weathering has left the formerly smooth black finish pock-marked, rough and dry. I would like some advice on cleaning, filling and finishing, if anyone has experience with this stuff. Thanks in advance!
