I have a late model canon camera that has had paint worn off in various areas of the body. I would like to know if you have suggestions on the type of paint and airbrush that would be required to get this camera back in shape. The body is made of magnesium alloy and the worn out areas are flat and smooth (primer probably needed). I think an airbrush is the only way to make the pain to on evenly. The original paint is a matte type and very strong. Some have said that the paint was probably baked on. I am not looking to restore to a completely new condition, just want to cover the worn area with some matching type paint to prevent any potential damage.

Do you have any suggestions on what type of paint would come close to a black matte and very strong yet thin enough for an airbrush?

    Thanks,
    Loi
