I have a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am “Daytona 500” pace car and I’m in the process of a partial restoration. If you look in the engine bay, there is some black crap that is sprayed on the backside of the wheel well humps, as well as a little on the firewall. It looks to be undercoating. Is there a way to remove this without stripping the paint? I really want to detail the engine bay and make it look good, but that stuff is ruining the look of it. Thanks!
