I have a 1995 Ford Escort. This is my daily driver (gas mileage!) Even though its just an Escort, I like my cars looking good. I have stock cast (aluminum?) wheels that are showing their age, my question to you is, can the clear coat be stripped, the wheels buffed out to a brilliant shine, instead of the factory satin finish and recoated with clear. I have a professional buffing set-up and have been buffing brass/silver/and nickel products for years, but no experience with wheels! If this can be done, what products should I use? Thanks! 🙂
