The cam cover for a Miata has the lettering recessed into it, opposite of most covers one would see. I’ve been asked to make the letters a different color than the body of the part-red body, silver letters. Could I apply the red, do a partial cure, let it cool off completely then fill the recesses with silver, wiping off any that got on the body of the cover (reason for the full cool) and then reheat it and finish out the red cure and melt the silver into the letter recesses? Anyone try this or something similar? How did it work? I’d try it out on the cover I have, but I’d hate to have to clean out pc from the recesses if the experiment failed.
