While I’ve completely enjoyed the hobby gun, just as soon as I have an extra $500 to spare I’m buying one of the pro guns. So, in the meantime I’ll be using the daylights out of the hobby gun. 😀 Only problem, last night I accidently knocked it off it’s hanger. 😮 The plastic cap broke…I was right in the middle of coating some bike parts so I had to continue..LOL!! Powder went everywhere. After looking at the gun, I was thinking, hey I can fix this! I’ve got tools! LOL!
Here are a few pictures..there really wasn’t much to it. In fact, I had it finished in about 15 minutes. All you need is a 3/8″ and 9/64″ drill bit, a phillips head screwdriver and a pair of pliers. I also used some clear silicone just to be on the safe side because my gun started to blow powder around the lid and where the two pieces of the “barrel” meet.
Uh Oh!!
Yup…it’s broken!!
