    Hello everyone!

Just registered and am totally in the dark about sandblasting and what different medias to use, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have several projects that will be going into effect and the title of this thread is just one of them. Right now I have a fuel tank off of a 2007 GMC TopKick that I have some small areas of rust in which I can’t get to with my wire wheel or grinder to get it to a nice shiney base metal for primer. So what I need to know is what is best type of media to get into small crevices to remove the paint and rust. I also need to know the correlation of static electricity to sandblasting. Do all forms of media conduct static electricity or are there some different forms of media that will not conduct static electricity?

    Thanks!

    Mark.
