I do leather seat repair and recoloring, but have not found a product that meets my standards relative to the repair process.
Sub-patching is simple and usually trouble-free. My problem is I can’t find a putty that can go on smooth, hardens to a sandable finish, and leaves me with a non-detectable repair. The current products on the market (Deep Leather Fill, etc.) don’t harden to a nice sandable finish.
I am currently experimenting with everything flexible that I can find on the market in search of a good product. Any advice or assistance in this area would be sincerely appreciated.
