So I am new member, and I have several questions about Eastwood Products.
I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma, not a classic car, but I have some surface rust on the rear end of the frame near the shackles, and also on top of the frame rail under the cab. Both areas of rust surface rust, with some scaling. Thankfully, I do not any internal frame rust like many other Toyota Tacomas out there. I am not covered by the Toyota frame warranty. On other forums I have been on asking about rust treatment everyone suggests POR15, but the amount of rust I have does not warrant the application of POR.
So I came across Eastwood, and several other Tacoma owner have used it as well. I was wondering the differences between rust encapsulator and rust converter. What would an effective treatment be for my trucks rust? My goal would be treat the rust I have now by:
1.) Removing loose rust
3.) Use a rust converter or encapsulator
4.) Top Coat
