I’ve been having problems with my powder coat finish. I’m using the Eastwood original gun (single voltage). The finish is uneven with a gloss in some areas, haze in others. I’m using the V-Twin black which is gloss. I also get some bubbling at times.
Just as a test, I used my Craftsman/WAI gun which has it’s own built in compressor/air gun and the results were great. I don’t suspect the Eastwood gun – more my compressor. I do have the in-line filter on the gun – how long do they last? Mines been on there for pretty long. I suspect oil/moisture in the line. Are there any tips – short of buying an expensive air dryer for the line?
Thanks
