Finally had the time to do some serious sanding on a bunch of my parts and get them on the buffer. Sanded everything by hand out to 600 grit as was recommended and then went with emery on a spiral sewn followed by white rouge on the loose wheel. Now I have some pretty shiny aluminum but when looked at straight on in the light I am far from that ‘mirror’ finish. My parts still appear a bit cloudy. What am I doing wrong? I thought for sure I sanded enough, but perhaps I didn’t? I am at a loss here and am getting frustrated… Any help would be appreciated.
