Heres a question about priming a car. i have a 66 mustang and i want to prime it while i do the body work. the car will be sanded to bare metal, what is the best way to prime it so that it will not get surface rust showing through the primer. it will be driven with primer on it for several years before it recieves paint, so what is the best process for priming it? etching primer then sandable? i would like it to have a nice suede black finish. what products should i purchase? i’ve heard about epoxy primer, anybody know if it will keep the elements out?
