Reviewed the FAQ’s in Shop Talk forum and could not find any threads addressing my question. I appreciated Keith from ‘tech support’ leaving me a message. I am interested in purchasing a ‘Pressure Blaster’ but my compressor output is a 6hp compressor rated at 6.5cfm @90psi with a max. of 150 psi. Reviewing Eastwood catalog it would appear the compressor just meets the minimum requirement, using the 3/32″ nozzle. I am concerned the duty cylce would consist of 2-3 minutes pressure blasting, build pressure, then repeat the 2-3 minute cylce. It’s a restoration project removing exterior/interior rust and paint. Thought about holding off, intend purchasing large capacity compressor at later date, but would preferred the project not wait. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
