Hi guys! This web site is super
I have a 74 Chevy C10 1/2 ton Stepside that I’m working on. Currently the truck is striped from the firewall forward. The frame has some minor rust spots but is in pretty good shape
My delima is this. What do you prep the metal with? I have read in numerous forums as well as this to use one of these products…
1. Lacquer Thinner
2. Acetone
2. Eastwood’s Pre Painting Prep
3. Eastwood Enviro Pre Prep
4. Eastwood Pre Wash
I just got Eastwood’s Rust Encapsulator and Extreme Chassis Black Satin that I’m going to use on the frame and suspension. Needless to say I don’t want any problems.
I just want to thank you guys in advance for any help you may be able to provide
