Hi,
Is there a powder color (or combination of color and clear) that you can recommend that will approximate the color of silver cad plating? I’ve tried a few experiments and haven’t quite gotten what I was looking for. Most recently I tried the argent silver with some deglosser, which is still a little too chrome-like. What if I add some deglosser and use satin clear? Will this dull the finish sufficiently?
Here’s what I’m working on (brake backing plates for my ’41 Century):
Any advice? Thanks in advance.
