    Hey guys,
I am new to the forum. We are a local powder coating/performance shop here in PA. I was curious as to how you guys powder coat wheels and leave the polished lip if it has a clear coat on it already. We just got in a 55 gallon drum of Solvent Kleen powder coating stripper that we use in an immersion tank (works great). Have any of you used this product before? I am curious as to whether or not it would stain the polished lip on a wheel if I dipped them to strip the powder coat off. Just wanted some opinions as to how you guys strip and coat wheels while leaving the polished lip alone. The wheels I have in the shop are a few thousand dollar 20″ wheels and didn’t think it was a good idea to use one to test the method out

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.
