    Hi,

I have a GT-40 intake and would like to do some custom powder coating. The first thing I’d like to do is remove the current factory paint. The polish all the areas that are flange like followed by the tips of the main body. Then powder coat the remaining area high gloss black. I would then like to put a high gloss clear over the polished areas so I don’t have to keep polishing them. Can you help me throught the process?

This is the steps I thought I would take.

    1. Polish then mask those areas.
    2. Powder Coat Black
    3. Let cool then remove masking
    4. Powdercoat entire piece high gloss clear (low-temp)
    5. done.

    Not sure if this works.

    Thanks
