Have been using the Hotcoat gun and Eastwood powders for a variety of jobs and been pleased with the results, however I am concerned at the resistance to attack from certain chemicals and wondered what you consider to be its suitability against:
Automotive brake fluid
Paint thinners
Acetone
Brake cleaner
It seems that brake fluid eats the paint as does thinners (admittedly with a reasonable soaking and a small amount of rubbing) and I would have thought that being essentially plastic in powder form it should have a reasonable resistance to these
Am I being unrealistic or could I be doing something wrong with prep, curing time or temperature
Thanks
