I have a 2003 Corvette with polished aluminum wheels.
I take the car to the track several times each year. Running the high performance brake pads and rotors has damaged the inside of my polished aluminum wheels which started out polished to a mirror finish.
I bought several buffing pads and other drill attachments and several grit compounds from Eastwood.
#1. Is there any clear coat or other coating on the wheels to worry about?
#2. Do I just start with the coarsest grit and then qwork my way to the finest?
#3. How long should it take to work with each grit?
Thank you.
