I am about done painting my modified Datsun 260Z. Now it is time to finish the wheels that are not the stock ones, but are Nissan. Long story short I want to paint them black and blue using Eastwood single stage urethane that I already have. My question is the painting and masking process. I’m thinking the first thing I do is spray some Eastwood epoxy primer on the wheels and sand them smooth. I want to have the outer lip painted royal blue, the inner pattern painted boulevard black, and the center where the lug nut holes are painted royal blue. then satin diamond clear on the whole thing.

So, once the primer is on, what is the right way to go about painting and masking the wheels?
