    Team,

I’ve been working on a 72 Convertible Mustang. I had blasted (w/glass beed) the pedals, e-brake and a number of other brackets and parts from under the dash. Once blasted I laid down two coats of SEM self etching primer and two coats of SEM Trim Paint Satin Black Aerosol, following the can instructions for recoat/flash. The adhesion was not very good and the paint came off relatively easily.

We’ve reblasted the parts, coated with After Blast and are preparing to paint them again. The question is, I have both SEM and Satin Chassis Black. Would the Chassis Black be more durable and what would the best application approach over clean metal.

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!
