i recently purchased the 114098 finish line spray gun set.i like the minimal overspray capabilities of these guns, but i am having two problems. the first is i am getting runs a lot more than i ever got with my old binks #7 that i have used for years. admitidly i am a little “trigger happy”, and the lighting in my workshop is not like a professional paint booth.but i think there is more to it than that. i am shooting an off white chroma 1 with 7085 mid temp reducer on some motorcycle fenders. with the off white it is hard to see buildup. mysecond problem is i cain’t seem to get the paint to lay flat, it has a buttermilk look to it, i beleave this is called orange peal. is this normal and can it be fine sanded and buffed out? how can i get the paint to spray flat?
