1968 427 Vette. Chrome valve covers painted over with Chevy Orange. Safest way to remove paint and hopefully discover chrome in good condition. Also remove paint from smaller parts ( I.E. ) thermostat inlet horn.. I recently purchased a vibratory tumbler from you With (2)types of media. and want to be sure of proper proceedure to remove paint before putting them in tumbler ????? Is it better to remove paint first?? Also bought buffing CD’s & buffing products. But didn’t see any CD on tumbler use. Thanks for you help and hope to continue a relationship during these (2) projects. Regards, Annon
Two 1968 T-Top, big block Vette’s. One is a numbers matching 427cu. Tri-Carb car. The other is a 454 cu. built to a LS6 spec. (Supposedly ) We’ll see as the project moves on.
