Kevin, I love your show. In fact I’m a fan of the whole family from Powerblock TV. Anyway, I see that you endorse Eastwood’s paint guns. I painted for a living 25-30 years ago when Imron was cool. I’m not real familiar with the newer HVLP guns that are out there so I purchased a set of “cheap” guns to play around with. It seems I have to use a lot of air pressure to get decent results. With all the overspray in the air I might as well go back to my siphon gun.
What do you recommend for an HVLP finish gun that will give me good results w/o a lot of sanding and buffing? I use a 6hp, 30 gal. compressor that puts out 8.6 cfm at 40 psi. It’s connected to 1/2″ hard lines with water trap releases and an air filter/regulator before it goes out to a 25′ (3/8″) hose.
