I thought I was about done wet sanding today until I noticed the sanding residue was blue instead of clear. I painted the car with single stage royal blue then clearcoated, all Eastwood products. Closer inspection shows there are 5 or 6 places where I’ve sanded through to the color, biggest one being about the size of a dime.
I’m ready to do final scratch removal with 2000 grit, then on to compounding. So, the question is, will the places where I sanded through to the ss blue be noticeably different once I compound and glaze?
