I’m only a short time into powdercoating and am already hooked.

I’m working on powdercoating my front suspension parts and want to know if I can coat the ball joints and tie rods. Not the entire joints, just the exposed metal on the top/bottom of the upper/lower ball joints and tie rod. I didn’t know how these parts would handle the heat in the oven.

My new front/rear coil springs came powdercoated black, but I want to coat in a different color. Do I have to remove the existing coat or can I just coat over the top of it?

    Thanks – Chad
